At CONEXPO, the world’s largest heavy construction equipment exposition held in Las Vegas, United States on 4 - 8 March, Doosan Infracore presented more than 60 new products, including construction equipment that meet Tier 4 Final emission regulations.
Doosan Infracore announced on the 5th of the month that it would take part in ‘CONEXPO 2014’ held in Las Vegas, United States, one of the world’s biggest heavy construction equipment expositions, and install a large-sized booth to exhibit over 60 types of machines including a new model of excavator. This year, more than 2,400 companies in the world are expected to participate in the triennial expo held between the 4th and 8th of March. The number of visitors in this global event is projected to exceed 130,000.
Doosan Infracore has installed a 4000m2 outdoor booth for Doosan and Bobcat, its construction equipment brands, to display a full lineup of over 60 types of equipment such as compact and mid-to-large-sized construction equipment, generators, air compressors and lighting towers.
This expo served as an opportunity for Doosan Infracore to release a new wheel loader, 15 types of Bobcat equipment, 3 types of air compressors and 2 types of excavators equipped with engines that satisfy the strengthened Tier 4 Final emission regulations of North America and Europe, as well as hydraulic brakes for excavators, 30% lighter and 75% more powerful than existing products.
Doosan Infracore’s Engine BG, to make inroads into the OEM market, also exhibited two
new engines mounted on Bobcat’s compact equipment.
Moreover, Bobcat presented its special, limited edition loaders featuring new colors and design to mark the production of its one millionth loader, which is scheduled for launch in July. It’s a milestone that came 56 years after Bobcat started manufacturing loaders in 1958, for the first time in the global compact construction equipment industry.
A Doosan Infracore official said, “At this expo, we presented a number of new products that can meet reinforced emission standards and thereby laid the foundation for us to compete with other top-tier global manufacturers.”
At CONEXPO, Bobcat, Doosan Infracore’s compact equipment manufacturing division, released its special, limited edition loaders to mark the production of its one millionth loader.
